Edward Keith Stoddard Jr. really likes his PlayStation 3 (PS3). So much, in fact, that if you were to touch it, he may just kill you. Such was the fate of his neighbor, Douglas F. Abrams, who Stoddard suspected of stealing his PS3.

Police reports say that during an argument over the missing console late Wednesday night, Stoddard shot Abrams, fatally wounding him. After police showed up on the scene, Stoddard surrendered and is now in Land O’Lakes jail in Dade County, Florida.

Love your console, people. Just don’t get jealous if it drops by the neighbors’ house for some tea.

Atlanta police are searching for a gunman who shot a man twice inside of Compound Night Club this morning (April 18).

The shooting happened during a “Hot on the Runway” fashion show, which was sponsored by popular Hip-Hop station Hot 107.9.

Celebrities like Mario, Ashanti, Young Berg, Ray J, Lil Scrappy, Diamond had performed or were present during the evening, in what was described as a successful event, until the shots rang out, long after the fashion show had ended.

According to police, a 22-year-old man was sitting on a couch near the club’s bar in the terrace area, when an unknown assailant shot him twice in the abdomen.

“I heard four pops and was out of the VIP area and saw people running,” an eyewitness told AllHipHop.com. “The way the venue is set up, there is a backroom. And the people in the backroom had no idea what was happening because the music was so loud. Immediately after that I saw people running out of the venue. Security came in and informed everyone what happened and they evacuated the building.”

The man who was shot was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds and is in serious condition.

Police said there was no altercation before the gunfire and that witnesses only heard gunshots, they did not see a weapon or the shooter running.

Police also said that witnesses were not being cooperative.

At press time there are no suspects.

Five people injured during a shooting at a 2006 Plies concert have filed a civil suit against the rapper, seeking $10 million in damages. The South Florida native is one of several defendants being sued by the Gainsville, FL residents.

“If they’re suing Mr. Washington, they’re suing the wrong person,” said Plies attorney Robert Rush. “He does not have legal liability. It is not an entertainer’s job to provide security for a club where the entertainer is performing.”

According to the Gainsville Sun, Plies’ label, Slip-N-Slide Records and the Gainesville nightclub 283 West, where the incident took place, are also named in the suit.

Reports say that the performers entourage fired into a sold-out crowd of close to 1,000 after the rapper’s microphone was shut off to allow the next performer, Lil’ Boosie, to take the stage.

Plies, whose real name is Algernod Washington, had his brother Ronell Lavatte in attendance. Lavatte and another man, Tory Carnegie, were the accused shooters and were charged with attempted murder. Police searched Lavatte’s vehicle and found five loaded firearms and additional rounds of ammunition.

Plies was also searched after the shooting, resulting in a charge of illegal possession of a concealed weapon. He later pled no contest to the charge.

I hate watching the news. Especially Fox. The folks on Fox are so racist I just get so irritated. I was getting my oil changed 2 weeks ago before my trip to Atlanta for the Hawks game and in the little waiting area they had it on Fox and everything was just pissing me off. How they talked about Obama..it was just sickening! I realized what kind of place it was and wanted to spend my money else where but I had a coupon for a fifteen dollar oil change and lord knows I’m cheap. Kanye West beat Soulja Boy to a Grammy award

Soulja Boy has confessed he has a “beef” with Kanye West.

The 17-year-old Crank That rapper is furious the 30-year-old hip-hop star beat him to the Best Rap Song Award at this year’s Grammys for his track Good Life.

Soulja Boy told Orange World: “Me and Kanye West, we beefin’ right now. I was nominated for a Grammy and Kanye stole it from me. If I would have won that night, that would have been my first Grammy, and I would have been signed for six months and winning a Grammy, on top of having the biggest record in the world in 2007. So, thanks Kanye… That’s what I think of him.”

The Yahhh! rapper also revealed he is a huge fan of Kanye’s rival 50 Cent and he’d love to team up with him.

He said: “50 Cent is a big inspiration to me. As far as collaborations, I think they may happen in the future. But I think when it does happen it’ll change the game.”
